As you’re looking at the How It All Works page – I assume you’re interested in hiring me to write you a blog piece or article.
Please contact me at paul[at]cre8tiveweb.com to discuss any writing projects you have in mind.
In order to save time and effort, please note that any project/brief/idea/plan/ should include some or all of the following, (this is not an exclusive list, please feel free to include as much detail as you think I will need to understand what you want from me):
- Overall aim of the article
- Keywords or phrases you want included
- Links (Note: All links will include the attribute rel=“no follow” if published on my blog)
- Media – such as images, videos etc, or links to those media which you want included
- An approx word count
- A deadline (Note: the deadline needs to encompass any “revision time” based on your feedback when I submit the blog piece/article to you for review, i.e. the communication process/delay between ourselves).
- A deadline. Please give me as much notice as possible. The minimum amount of notice is 72 hours “writing time” i.e. from the time of final agreement of the project AND AFTER the fee deposit has been paid (see below). The deadline also needs to encompass any “revision time” based on your feedback when I submit the blog piece/article to you for review, i.e. the communication process/delay between ourselves).
An example of a typical project brief that would be acceptable to me is here: Sponsored Blog Brief Example
“One-Off” Article Fees
For “one-off” articles, I charge a “per job” fee. This fee is negotiable. I don’t write for peanuts, so please don’t suggest “1c a word” or “$10 for 200 words” etc. My usual fee is between £50 – £100. The range of fees is approximate depending on your project. I don’t give estimates for jobs – so please don’t ask.
After we discussed the project, I’ll inform you of the fee. The fee covers the original article, or blog piece, I submit to you and any further work that may result from your feedback – up to two revisions.
50 percent of the fee is to be paid in advance, with the balance due once the final agreed article is submitted back to you.
I use Paypal. I will accept UK cheques from UK banks in GB Sterling – cheques need to be cleared before work is commenced.
Occasional Contributor/Regular Writer Fees
These would be things we would need to discuss in more detail.
